Day One, Part 1: The Misfortune-Dispelling Rite
Opening at the astrologically chosen hour
The ceremony begins strictly at an auspicious hour selected through the Seven Governors and Four Remainders star-calendar method. Starting at the right moment is like connecting the dragon vein to a power source — it is the core reason Tzu Hsin Ge clients typically feel effects within about a year, versus five to ten years for ordinary feng shui.
Memorial documents and the Seven-Star Lamps
Each client has an individual memorial document read aloud and burned, formally announcing their name and birth chart to the heavens. The priest then lights the Seven-Star Lamps to dispel misfortune; the talisman beneath each lamp is later given to the client for protection.
Paper effigy: carrying away accumulated negativity
A dedicated paper effigy absorbs the negative energy each client has accumulated. After the effigies are burned, the priest drives the malign influences far away with ritual whip and incantation. Old burdens must be cleared before new fortune can enter — the sequence is never reversed.
Day One, Part 2: Fortune-Replenishing and Consecration
Replenishing the wealth treasury
Gold ingots are hand-folded for every client. Each person receives an individual fortune-replenishing document placed inside their ingots; after the rite, ingots and documents are burned together so the deities may credit each client's destiny treasury — foundation first, then growth.
Consecration with cinnabar: linking the treasures to you
Using a cinnabar brush and consecration mantras, the priest awakens every object that will be buried — the five-element treasures, relic pagoda and longevity tablet — creating a living spiritual link between these objects and their owner. Unconsecrated objects are mere items; consecrated ones carry your life information.
Day Two: At the Dragon Vein Site
Honoring the Dragon Deity and reading the coordinates
The team travels to the dragon vein — sometimes at dawn, sometimes at midnight, whenever the auspicious hour falls. After honoring the site's Dragon Deity, the memorial document is read aloud: it includes the exact longitude and latitude of the burial point and the water mouth, giving every Sheng Ji a unique registered address in the celestial records.
The five-direction protective boundary
Guardian generals are summoned to the east, south, west, north and center to seal the site, ensuring no wandering spirit can occupy the position. The burial point and vessel are then purified with talisman water.
Sealing the vessel deep in the earth
The mother coin is placed, then the client's treasure vessel — containing hair, nails, blood and the birth chart — is buried deep in the soil of the true dragon vein. Burial in living earth, never a columbarium shelf, is what separates authentic Sheng Ji from imitations: only earth-buried objects can draw the dragon vein's qi.
Why this process cannot be copied
Three foundations make it unrepeatable: legally owned dragon-vein land on the same vein as the Wang Yung-ching family tomb; the star-calendar date-selection method; and an authentic Lushan Taoist lineage — Master Lin Jia-Hua was ordained in 2007 under the 64th Celestial Master. The entire two days are video-recorded so you can verify every single step described on this page.
